Below is the Facebook page for the film after earth,as we can see this like part of the page shows us that the people that liked this page the most were people aged 18-14.This makes sense due to the fact the audience has to be over 12(PG-13) but this also makes sense because the audience would have been people who were fans of will smith and when they were younger would have watched The fresh Prince of Bel air(which finished in 1996) so these people will have grown up but might want to see how Will Smith's acting is now.

The film was released on June 7th in the UK so it would make sense that the most popular week for the Facebook page of the film was the week before it's release,this suggests there was hype about the film.
