Creating Our Company Ident

To create our company ident we looked at several different film company logos to get ideas for our own, also we researched different fonts and styles to create the exact logo that we would want our company to be represented by. 

We tried out several different fonts ,colours and styles that we could use for our logo and would relate to our company name which is Steel. To the right are the rough outlines of logo ideas and fonts that we sketched in order to work out what we liked best and what would match with our blog.                                                                                                                                                                             

   We needed the colours for our logo to match with our company name which is Steel. Based on our research on other film company logos we found that common colours in most of there logos

were black,silver and to add a signature look to our logo, we decided to use the colour red.

Creating our company ident- I used adobe illustrator to create our company logo.I set our background as a grey colour and because I couldn't find the ideal font we liked I drew our text onto our logo using the "paint" and "line" button.Below is a screenshot of us during the making of our ident then we plan to add red to the other half of our text. We decided to animate our ident with a gradual fade between the red and grey text. We used Microsoft Movie Maker to order the clips and add a gradual fade,Below is our finished company ident.
