Analysis of Credits Catch me if you can

Analysis of Credits

Catch me if you can

The credits for catch me if you can are in a cartoon format, with different brightly coloured scenes and black stick people, and the credits run in creative ways accustomed to the scene. The film again seems to be set into New York,  and throughout the credits you see a story being told as you follow one character who seems to be on the run followed by another character  who appears to be a detective. This suggests some kind of deception, and a story with clues and links to why this man is being followed, and why the detective is so very persistent in trying to capture this man.

The credits matches the scenes linking to them creatively to create part of the scene, eg. a floor, or a wall, part of a road, or a swimming pool the font is rounded and simple but the way it has been added to the cartoon scenes makes it look very unique.

Several scenes appear with coloured backgrounds and black writing whereas others appear with black background and coloured writing. The sound is a very eery music, which sounds mysterious and suits the credits well as it tells a story of lies, deceit, and explains that something strange is going on. It also goes well with the man being followed, as it is clear he knows hes being followed and the music adds
to the tension, as at each dead end the man must keep going in fear of being caught.

The Credits begin with the film company which is
DreamWorks, then the production company and then the name of the director Steven Spielberg, then moves on to the lead actors, and then shows the film title,  then the rest of the supporting actors.

Then it moves on to casting, co producers, the book the film was based on, music, costume, editor, production designer, co executive producer, more producers, he screen play writer and the director again.
